    Play often, play big!

Play at the casino(s) where you are interested in playing tournaments. Meet the requirements that they ask and tell your host that you are interested in their tournaments.

VIP tournaments are not that hard to get into if you put in the time and avg. bets they are looking for. Even if you come up a little under the (require betting avg.) talk to your host and see if they can get you in, you'll be surprized how often a smaller avg. players get invites to their events.

    Hope this advise helps.

  3. Tournament Invite.

    Sam,

I agree with everything TX said to you above. I'm not a big player but I do play the $25 tables and I have about 5 Casinos I frequent in Vegas. I have offers for Tournaments but usually do to conflicts on when they are held, I have not made one yet. The part I enjoy more is the free room offers and special events. I had never attended the National Finlas Rodeo til last December and I went two nights with great seats. I have never been to a Nascar Race and I will be attending the Busch and Nextel Cup Race in Vegas along with my Rooms comped in March. I do plan on playing in some Tournaments out there this year, maybe I'll see you there. Along with what TX said, just go play and give them the action. Be sure you ask to be rated when playing.

    Take Care
    Capt.

    Play to Play

    Sam:

I also agree with TX and the CAPT. It's also TOOLMAN'S LAW #5: PLAY TO PLAY (give them side PLAY TO PLAY in their tournaments).:D

Just remember, once you get yourself established at a casino you must continue to give them the side action every time you take them up on an offer. Otherwise, the offers will dry up.

    What is side action?

    Regular table play

Side action is anytime you play the tables or machines in the casino, other than the tournament games.
