I meet the product manager for one of the larger online casinos last week in Las Vegas. He was there to check out the Stardust and New Frontier Blackjack tournaments for a new online tournament their company is planing . He asked me my opinion on an online
    Blackjack tournament.

Here are my suggestions, what do you think?
Elimination not accumulative, 5-6 players per table, deal rotates after each hand, two advance from each table, $500 to start with (no cash value chips), 25 hands per round, surrender, on screen chip totals, and on screen timer to speed game along.

If they can host online tournaments like the one mentioned above I would play, how about you?

Not nearly enough information. What's the entry fee? What are the prizes? What the house's vig?

"Elimination" meaning that only the high scorer from each table progresses to the next round? If so, then if the entry fee were high I'd be less likely to want to play because it's too easy to be knocked out early by chance. Be a different story if the top 2 or 3 players from each round were to progress, or if scorings were cumulative, which would give it more of a skill slant.

More info as it comes avalible

Skipjack, the on-line tournaments are probally not coming until the summer. I know two players per table will advance in each round. As far as skill level elimination if far better then accumaltive tournaments, if your on a bad table your screwed. Five players can all advance from a hot table in accumaltive style. This is why over 95% of the land based casinos use elimination style tournaments. They are what the players want to play in, only exception I know of is Bally's in Tunica and that is only because they add an extra $25,000 to the pot.
