Could anyone here help me find land based casinos in Vegas that sponsor blackjack tournaments regularly? I am hoping for something that is a week by week basis or at least monthly. Hopefully a small one that is decent for beginners. Thank you for your help.

Longhorn The Longhorn has a daily for only ten bucks. It's convenient and easy on the wallet while you're learning. The only atypical rule is you can split for less if you're all in. Don't let that rule get you into the bad habit of betting over half your stack if half will do. They move things along quickly, which makes it good practice for tracking chip stacks.
Sahara Tournament is every Wednesday - cost is $25 and you get a buffet (the worst in Vegas, unfortunately) - and rebuys are allowed - all rounds are multiple advance - a pretty good tourney, with the prize pool guaranteed at $2,000 -
