You can earn entry, so I heard, with the casinos typical X# of hours at 25$ a hand. I have looked over the web page this am for info and find none so I will be calling in later today. I did find they are offering a first Friday of each month 10 grand guarantee game with a 75$ entry fee. with 3 heats so thats a risk of 225. Not exactly cheap for a mini. Ventura County is really isolated and too far from just about everything. Anyway, I will be in a tournament the day before the 4th of July at Agua Caliente. Anyway, when I was at Pechanga for the first time this year it does seem to be along the lines of High Roller Casinos. I have to agree with you there.
