Late last month, we lost one of the dearest members of the tournament community. Forrest Price passed away on October 22nd at age 73. Forrest lived in Littlefield TX with his wife Clarice and the pair have been regulars in the major tournaments for many years. I don't think there is a more-loved couple in the tournament world.

Forrest missed his chance to participate in the final event of the Hilton MDBJ3 due to his health issues, so we knew the news wasn't good. Clarice is said to be doing OK despite some recent health issues of her own, and she has a new grandbaby to keep her busy.

Forrest and Clarice moved to Littlefield in 1969 and bought the Western Auto store there. In recent years, Forrest still served as president of the renamed "Price's Home and Auto". Forrest served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

The family suggests that memorials be sent to Alzheimers research efforts.

    You will be missed

Forrest was a great guy that always had a smile and a nice word to say about everyone. Him and Clarice were two of the players I enjoyed seeing the most while going to play in the tournaments.

He will be missed by all that knew him.

    God Bless.

Just saw the post. Am saddened. Talked with Forrest a few times. Outstanding gentleman. Belated condolences to Clarice and family and best wishes
