For all you Sam's Town players. Their Sept tournament has been changed to the 7th and 8th of September instead of its normal 3rd week of the month. I updated the calendar.
Sept tournament now in October As of today only 4 people had officially entered the Sept 7 & 8 tournament. They were afraid enough people did not know about the rescheduling, so they have canceled the September tournament and rescheduled it again for October 12th and 13th.
I don't know if it will do any good, but in case no one else has, I'll let John know about the Fitz conflict.
still on for October 12th & 13th I talked to John and Carol Thursday night. They were aware of the Fitz conflict, but said the people upstairs (whoever that is) set the dates and already prepared mailouts and advertizing. The Fitz rescheduled their last tournament (not because of a scheduling conflict, but when they could get the International Bikini Team). They have not sent out their mailers yet, so possibly they will reschedule. However I don't think they talk to the other casinos, so I doubt it. I don't have much pull there, but one of you may be able to contact them and try to get them to reschedule.
Fitz moving dates Heard from a reliable source, but not yet confirmed, that the Fitz has changed their dates to Oct 5th and 6th so as not to conflict with Sam's Town.
