Feedback on this event: I was not able to attend this event although I have played several in the past. Would like to know about attendance, prize money breakdown, etc.,etc.. Did the casino announce future tourn. dates? THX, Jim
Sam's Town $20,000 guaranteed tournament There were 118 buyins and rebuys for a total purse of $35,400. Payouts were 1st $20,000 2nd 5,310 3rd 3,540 4th 2,832 5th 2,478 6th 2,124 7th 1,416 Total payout $37,700. Sam's Town added 2,300 to the pot to make the 50% guaranteed $20,000. In addition Sam's Town gave the 21 semifinalists $100 in promo chips. The next tournament will be May 18th & 19th. Tentatively it will be a $200 buyin and $100 rebuys. This should significantly increase the rebuys, as the $300 rebuys were not too popular. I will post to the calendar when the details are finalized, probably next week.
