Ken's sister site (BJinfo.com) no longer takes message board posts to the chagrin of many of us that were active there. For those not familiar, there was a good deal of vitriol (mainly because of posts expressing different political philosophies) and yes, many times I was involved. In some cases it led to personal attacks and I guess Ken and the mods got tired of policing (and banning) some members which is understandable in my view. I expected this happening to increase traffic at this site. It still may because this just happened in the last few days. The agenda "over there" was centered on advantage play. For that reason, I was always surprised at how few people crossed over and used both sites. Must not be any AP's here!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: Billy C
APs I wouldn't be too sure of that. I always wondered if being 86'd in a casino would also ban you from the tourney you were there to play.
Oh yeah, some members here can tell you about that very thing happening to them at the Stardust when it existed. Billy C
Where to begin: Lefty is correct. AT LEAST TWO. Naw, there are no AP's here. Nothin to AP unless you have $100,000. Except for Rookie and or Mr. Smith, or especially, Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith put the lid down, kabashod outlandish posts here a long, long, long time ago. At least to keep the important free flow of tournament activity available. Too bad the old fashioned tournaments faded. Now, if you find one, you better refine all your other exceptional faculties over and above knowledge of odds, percentages, betting strategies, even for a few shekels. BUT, live practice knows no equal. And MONKEY. I love ya, you primate, you.
Noman, you sure got that right. I'm so rusty now that I'm probably little better than the comped ploppies. Nothing online for practice except donk heaven at ClubRigged. The BJT scene has pretty much completely vanished unless you've got deep enough pockets to fade variance for some pretty hefty table play. I don't even tell folks any more that I play BJT's. Now it's like being a world-class tiddlywinks player.... gee, that's nice, but it's a relatively useless skill.
How true That's a good analogy by Lefty. As for noman's mention of Rookie, I'd agree AND add that Rookie is an AP with women, also! Billy C
