Hello and welcome As in poker, you have two types of tournament - Scheduled tournaments - which start at a specified date and time, and for which the number of participants is not predetermined (although there might be a minimum and a maximum). Sit'n'go - where you wait around for the required number of players and then start playing. Typically this is a single-table format, so it just needs a handful of players, although you could have a two-round format. E.g., twelve players, two tables of six, three from each qualify for the final table.
