Duro On June 16th and 17th there is a good game at Viejas so be sure to check calendar for info. Im calling Soboba back tomorrow to speak with the manager of the events. Should have detailed info on Soboba tomorrow. I will be going to Soboba or Viejas. Viejas has a good pay scale but expensive lodging. Soboba should have a lot fewer players tho. Also Fathers Day is during Viejas so maybe Soboba is my destination. We will see. Check events update tomorrow for Soboba details. BTW, when I went to Soboba 10 grand game, few weeks ago, at 30$/buyin they gave me 80$ in match play tickets. They offer pretty good table BJ there. Ill ask about the match play for this game, how nice of them! :joker:
On my way To San Jacinto aka Hemet this evening to play the 25 grand tourney. I have it figured with 60 players using rebuys to max there is a 7 grand overlay. I pre registered and they dropped the 5$ casino fee which makes the buy 100$ to game. Then you have the option to buy another 500$ in chips, $2000 starting BR before, which is a max bet and I have paid for it. 2/7 advance from qualifiers. Rebuys are the same, 100$ plus the option. 4 rebuy chances yields a 580$ risk to get you to the semis. Then it gets harder. The semis are 1/7 advance except one table, I was told, will have the top 6 accumulation players from semis for 1/6. The pay scale is all to the final 7 players. On a sour note, if the casino pulls in a lot of players the input could exceed the 25 grand guaranteed pay out. Im not sure how they will handle the over investment.
