It's a little over two weeks until the next BJT in St. Ignace, which I believe is still one of the finest deals in the country. Who is planning to be there? ROLL CALL!!! Deb and I will attend, and are bringing along a lifelong buddy of mine who has shown an almost frighteningly high-level talent for the game. This will be his first live BJT.
Solo, I'm planning to be there, solo. If anyone knows a Sarah Palin lookalike bring her along for me. Billy C
OoooOoooo Deb and I will attend, and are bringing along a lifelong buddy of mine who has shown an almost frighteningly high-level talent for the game. This will be his first live BJT.[/QUOTE] As if the competition wasn't stiff enough CP
Yes, Best Deal to be Had! Judy and I will be there also. With all the dry weather we have been having, I'm guessing the fall colors won't be as spectacular as years past though. See you all then, Dan
fall colors Dan, Up North it has been very wet. With all the rain my Heavily Wooded Estate is a veritable paradise. Maybe dry down South, but I expect great colors this fall. The lakes are up considerably. CP
leftnut Leftnut, I have a slot at Christmas and a VP at Ignace in October, tourneys both. There is nothing I would like more than to come to Ignace and watch the drama and see all my friends and celebritys. Chris and I have had a great time doing many Kewadin tourneys in the last year, especially over the summer and they have been a great series of vacations. They also give me a great shot at the BJ games when they are not so busy as VP and slot players generally do not play BJ. There cannot be a better casino in the country for tourneys than Kewadin. I understand Monkey System may not make it, that is too bad. I saw Tony Soprano last weekend and he said he is also doing the BJ tourney, always a tough player. Best to you. CP
Awwwwwww, what a bummer that you can't make it again, CP. You're right, Monkeysystem and Mrs. Monkey will be absent this time as well. Schedule conflicts. What celebrities? We've been there maybe four times now, have seen and made some great friends, but really haven't seen anyone that I'd classify as a celebrity.
Celebrity Let's see, Leftnut, Monkeysystem, Billy C, Toolman, Dan Mayo. Then of course there is "Schultzy's Crew". I think at this tourney someone might talk with Kewadin managment about a possible $50,000 BJ tourney, as they already have a $35,000 craps tourney. CP
CP, Thanks for the weather report! It's been so dry in our area that we have a lot of leaves that have already fallen. Take Care, Dan
Handicapped Rm A member of "Schultzy's Crew", Joseph, is in need of a Handicapped room at the casino Hotel. He presently has a room at the Lakefront casino hotel. You may know Joseph, he is the jovial gent in the wheel chair, parapalegic with other complications. If you have a handicapped room and do not need it, and would be willing to switch, and would like to do a good deed for a great guy, please let me know. CP
Wow, I certainly hope that someone can help out with Joseph's dilemma. I remember reading about Schultzy showing what a great guy he is by helping Joseph out at the offsite motel, but it would be wonderful if that wasn't necessary this time around! If it does turn out that such help is needed again, then Deb, our friend Bruce, and myself would be honored to help out in any way we can. By the way, where is Schultzy, anyway? He hasn't "checked in" on this thread yet!!!!
Great Roommate I can tell you that Joseph is a great roommate, too. We took advantage of the $400 for two deal at one of the tournaments at St. Ignace.
Me Celebrity? Thanks CP but I'm a long ways from being a celebrity. Joker might be more fitting! Looking forward to seeing you and the other regulars again. Billy C
Billy C, It would be great to see you again and have a chance to talk more...and tear up the felt....together CP
Handicapped room Last time there (a year ago) I had a handicapped room with no need for it. After reading your post, I called and left message on DeAnn's voice mail stating that I don't have that need. Hopefully, that might help this problem if it hasn't already been solved. Billy C
DeAnn is a pretty sharp lady, I'd bet that she takes the hint and does whatever she can to help. Me, celebrity? Yeah, right, are you gonna try to sell me a bridge in the desert next? By the way, and this was sort of hijacked from another thread - St. Ignace isn't being as picky as one might think. My BJT-virgin friend has never been there and DeAnn accepted his entry without hesitation.
Lakefront. We've gotten to rather like the place. Sitting on the decks watching the water and the seagulls just before dark - or just after dawn. Cool.
