Yesterday at the Sahara,there were a least two tables where a playoff was necessary to determine who would advance. I happened to be in one of them,a 3 way tie for first,and advanced. It was a sudden death playoff...keep playing until winners are determined...it lasted one hand. I witnessed the other occurance,it also lasted one hand. The sudden death playoff rule was not in the printed rules,and I've never seen it before...usually a multi-hand deal. Razor Rob was in on the other one and lost out. He wasnt happy,and rightfully so in my opinion. It was almost as if the rule was made up on the spot. I'm wondering has anyone else encountered this situation before,at Sahara or any other casino?? On a personal note,I managed to make the FT(my 2nd out of 3 times there),but finished 4th. The education continues...I gotta be more aggressive!
Playoff At my local casinos here in Oklahoma if there is a tie they play 3 more hands everyboby starting out even. Continue this until a winner.
