    Hi all,
i would like to know what tournament design would be best for the players, which players like the most and would love to play in online blackjack. As i am seeing that Elimination blackjack still have not got any much acceptance but its catching up.If you can suggest me something like ELB which is more exciting and interesting which can catch more players ,I will be very greatful.

I am designing a online game which will be live in next 5 months.Till now we have only single table tournament version of the game. Now we want to move to Tournaments. For that i want suggestion from you guys which version of Tournament should we do to get maximum players on the tournament or somebody can suggest a new design to a tournaments.

    Regards

    Online?

I thought the online tournaments were going to be closed within the next 7 months?

I have formats and rules I have designed for online companies in the passed. I normally get a fee for designing any online event.

To save you money I would simple go to the Blackjack Players Association web site at www.TBJPA.com check out the rules and format. This is what I am currently working on getting started around the U.S.

Those rules and format are what the majority of the players enjoy, at land base events anyway.

    Hope this helps you out.

The easy answer is: License UBT. :D

Short of that, there have been posts here before about what format players prefer. Of course, now that I'm looking for those threads I can't find them.

A few bullet points might help though:
    • Elimination, not accumulation style. That means you compete only against your table, not every table.
    • A number of hands per round between 15 and 25.
    • Have a max bet. No unlimited betting.
    • Offer surrender, double for less, insure for less.
    • Make sure all decisions including insurance go in order from the rotating button.
    • Tie-breakers should be playoffs.

Look up the software developer that Golden Palace uses...they have recently stoped offering this BJ game to USA but it still continues for the rest of the free world...

There are a lot of good things about this game...a few dumb things too but its fairly new and probably for sale cheap... Ah...Im being sarcastic...about the cheap part..

Good standard game software ....some normal startup issues but this is a good start.

UBT softwware is slowly getting better...cant go wrong with this game...in fact they need a customer friendly provider...the more the merrierererer....(just didnt know where the er's stoped there so I went overboard to appear funny rather than stupid)

    Spell check please???;-)
