It is looking better for the "Super-Mini's" as a matter of fact the casino was asking me about players staying at their hotel during the LV Hilton and Stardust tournaments if they don't have rooms already. If this goes as planned I may possiblly get discounted rooms for those players who need a place. Joe brought up a good point about using these as satellite for a new Million Dollar tournament, I like that idea, but it is ya'll's money so I will let you make the call. I put up a poll on how you want the money paid out. As of now the prizes money will be: (based on 54 players X $500 = $27,000) 1st = $11,000 2nd = $ 6,000 3rd = $ 4,000 4th = $ 3,000 5th = $ 2,000 6th = $ 1,000 -------------- Total = $27,000 = 100%
Nothing YET! TV, I just want the final okay...LOL. I hope to know by tomorrow. I did hear that the Friday 13th date is out! WE will go with the 15th, 16th, & 17th as the dates. All the events will be starting at 7:00 PM - about 10:30 PM. The location I (hope I can get) only has 6 BJ tables for us to use so we will have to play 6-3-3-1, (that is 6 and then 3 tables for round 1, then back on schedule with 3 tables for round 2, and 1 for the finals. May take a little longer, but beggers can't be chooser's. Plus if we come up short of 54 players first out in the first 6 tables can get another entry to fill it up! I will make it work somehow, if we get it.

Can't do it because, 12th is the LV Hilton wild card draw, we would lose to many players and no one wants to stay up late before the start of the Million Dollar tournament. And second, No casino will let us run them on the weekends, (To busy) it would cost them and us to much money, (if we could even get them then). No were stuck with Sunday - Tuesday, and those aren't soild yet! Still thanks for the imput, I wish we could hold them during the weekend while more players were in town, but we will sell all three out at only 54 players per event. Most will play in everyone of them.

Anything new?? Rick, do you have any new information on the Super Minis? I am working on getting out there for the Stardust tournament and am interested in playing Monday and Tuesday evening. Thanks!
