After getting lots of positive feedback from the blackjack cruise I have decided to host some bigger local tournaments here in Texas (Dallas area). There are no dates set at this time, (althought I was thinking around March 2006). I would run the same format as on the cruise, but only host two tournaments over the weekend. Have it where the players could come in on Friday night or early Sat. and the tournaments would be over by early Sunday evening. (I want them easy on the working people). Please note that these tournaments will be held in a hotel and not a casino so there will be no gambling avalible, (unless to run up to Oklahoma, hour away). All those interested in come down to Texas for some tournaments just send me a PM so I can figure out how many to plan on. By the way 100% of all entries and re-buys are returned in these tournaments.
I hope the hotel will be close to Love Field since that is where all of the Southwest flights come in. They serve 7 states from that field. They want to serve more but American Airlines got federal legislation passed years ago to try to stymie them from competition. Look who is making $ now, & who is almost in bankruotcy
