They are getting all the little problems straightened out. I mailed in my first request for my $14 due credit that wasnt taken care of a couple weeks ago to support@pokerhosts dot com. When my $51 wasnt put in, after our failed attempt for a $12500 game, I mailed them again. In less than 12 hrs I got an email from the blackjack host, personal note, saying it would be taken care of w/in 72 hrs I believe. They got it done in 12 hrs. B
nice for you that you got your entry fee back - they told me I would not - evidently they feel justified in keeping the entry fees paid for from the feeder tourneys - with the feeder winners getting nothing - the second place finisher got cash - he ended up money ahead - for me - winning the feeder tourney put me money behind - I just donated my entry fee to the cause - don't trust these people too much - this is way less than ethical treatment of the feeder tourney winners - I am seriously considering pulling all my money out and not playing there any more - I have a real problem with creeps who steal money from me - :flame:
I kind of had a feeling that would happen to you RK, sorry for it. Im mad at them right now too, they took my good ni ni nightly $500 game of the promo list. Now every day they have the crappy $250 5 hand need lot o'luck games but at least the $1000 game is still on every other day. Im waiting for the new, I hope, $12500 game to pop up.
I wouldn't play there if I were you RKuczek They shouldn't keep your money, especially if they paid out to the 2nd place finisher. I just don't see how they can justify it. That sort of thing would make me mad. Really, really mad! If I were you I'd take my money out, tell them why and send a letter to the gaming commision. Reach, sometimes when you win a promo for a specific event it is worth just that. If the game doesnt go off your winning is worthless. If the game goes you take advantage of your win. Sad but true. It makes sense if you think about it.
Barney I would have no complaint if the entry had been provided in a freeroll by GP - the problem is that entry was paid for by player's entry fees - they collected $1+0.10 from each player - and for every 14 players in the feeder - $14+0.40 - they awarded an entry into the fright night tourney - on my account - the win is shown as a deposit of $14 followed by payment of a $14 entry into the Fright Night tourney - so - what happened to the $14? - they just kept the money - this was not a promo - it was a paid for feeder event - with the player's entry fees providing the prize award - I didn't even get my $1+0.10 back - much less the $14 I had won - and it was cash winnings - even if dedicated to entry into another tourney - the second place finisher in the feeder won cash - I got taken for $14 - and after two complaints - the first was ignored - the last simply said - we're keeping the money - remember Pechanga Casino running feeders for their $1,000,000 tourney - awarding entries into the $1,000,000 tourney to feeder winners - then canceling the $1,000,000, and the feeder winners getting nothing - this is an identical situation - it was bad when Pechanga did it - and it is equally wrong when GP does it - much less money of course - but just as wrong in my opinion - that is dishonest - and this site is run by people who are less than ethical and honest - since they weren't paying out withdrawals it seemed - I didn't think I would even be able to close out my account - so I figured I would get some play out of it - now that they have let some people withdraw moneys - I am very likely to close out on this site - and just take my profit - at least that portion that they didn't steal from me -
Trust It's about consistency, fairness, trust and just "doing the right thing". This sort of thing and other actions by Golden Palace has really put me off playing there. I don't trust them and even if they put right what they should I still wouldn't. If you have to jump through hoops to claim a $14 prize that is owing to you imagine how much difficulty you'd have with $12,5000. And if you remember what The Gamesmaster said in his post... Personally...I dont trust any of them...I've just seen too many broken promises...shady decisions and no interest by the respective CS departments. When you ask a relevant question or point out a problem you had or saw but they ignore your effort to help them....well....I know what Im thinking... Screw you guys.... GP invested 600,000 more or less to buy into that software company...Im sure they are spending much more running these promotions....but then they screw around like this....and I know at least one guy from there posts here but he only seems to mention promos (Get21)...he doesnt seem interested in fixing any problems. I ran into an interesting situation the other day there too....watch out if you start seeing non english chat between the people on your left and right.... The language was dutch and they didnt know that I understood some of what they were saying....they were playing together against me...It was a guy and a girl....pretty slick really...he wa son my right and she was left seat. After the cards were dealt he would tell her what he and she should do .....I noticed finally when I picked up the words for STAY!!STAY!!!..that he was yelling to her... skined a 125 dollar pot from me....as we were the only 3 left at that point....I yelled at them and reported the whole incident to the site....Not one fu&in word of reply from CS....no hey we will look into it nothing... Screw that ...thats cheating...plain and simple....I guess the only way to avoid it is to remove chat...they dont seem interested in even answering me though... I cant understand why you would invest that much money and then ignore issues that need fixed in order to build trust and to expand your customer base.... One more issue to note about Golden Palace is that they have the most insane rules for handling pushes that I have ever heard....its the most bizzare concoction of if this then that steps ...insted of just holding a sudden death playoff...its teh person on the button wins ties...or the percon who bet the most ...or who has the biggest hand...or dick....I cant figure it out,,,,and you will be pissed when and if you play up to a push only to find that you loose becasue of this idiotic page of rules so complicated no one can explain it...I fought for a push in a 125 dollar game only to have it awarded to the other player....again nothing from CS..... You cant play a normal game with these strange rules....its actually worse than the Elimination Black jack game that cant figure out how to deal with 250 dollars..so it just ignores it...It a shame that this program isnt smart enough to add all the money up and keep every point, penny, whatever in the game...but GP software tops that by having this insane list of steps to handle the simple push! They have too much money invested to be fu(in around like this...I cant believe they arent more concened about how the investment is going over with the peoples.... Oh well ...glad its not my dollar invested....
