Perg Interesting you mention blackjack school. In my own mind I am a very good standard table blackjack player via money management and smart playing. While at the tables last week my first 4 sessions were met by failure losing 75-100% of my buy ins even tho I have a 50% stop at every session. Why did I screw myself? I was playing like it was a tournament. I took my next session off and ate an expensive free dinner, sat on my balcony and looked at the pool, chastised myself and convinced myself I could turn it around. Went 8 for 8 wins to close my vacation out. Lesson learned, dont play a standard table like a blackjack tournament. As for this evening, I can only hope I will see you at a final table. Barney
Hey Barney, You got your wish by seeing BOTH Pergo and ME at the final table It's funny that you mentioned that tourney playing messed up your individual BJ playing - I had that happen to me also. Right after I started playing tourney play then went to the table I had some of the same problems. What happened last night forget it WAS a tourney and playing regular BJ? Hey R U going be around this weekend at BJ21 or do I have to wait until Monday to take your money?
