    NOT ME

Didn't get an invite. I guess that's my fault. I've been on a loosing streak, as far as live BJ is concerned, for the last 6 months so I've been gradually cutting down on my play. Been doing better lately so maybe I can get back on their "good side". Besides, I first found out about it when it was posted on the CALENDER a few days ago.

    Slot payoff for blackjack win?

I meant to post about the payoffs on this VIP tournament earlier and forgot.

The entry is FREE for this blackjack event, however should you win the $20,000 first prize. I was told you'll get the $20,000 in free spins!

YEP, free spin on a slot machine, No cash, No check, not even promotional chips, but all free spins on a slot machine. When asked if the winner could at least pick the machine or possible play VP, I was told they weren't sure, but they thought it had to be certain machines.

WOW, I have never heard of a payout like this before. I had to ask three times to make sure they were talking about the payouts for the blackjack tournament.

Is this new or has anyone ever heard of such a payoff before?

Surely this would be awarded as standard free play on your players card, which at least means you can choose which machines to play it through.

With appropriate play, it's worth almost face value, so I don't have a problem with this. However, I think it will be quite unpopular with players.

    You would think so?

I would find it hard to believe they wouldn't let you pick your own machine, but then again I am surprized they are awarding free play as the 1st prize (not sure about the rest of the prizes).

I agree that given a chance to pick your own VP machine could be much better then the one time promo chips that so many casino award.

However if they only allow you certain slot machines to play your free play, (the person I talked to wasn't sure if VP machines were an option for the free play) then I wouldn't be interested in playing this event, (unless I was a local).

    Any word on this event?

I'd like to find out how the winner was paid off.
