Watching the progress of the tsunami which resulted from the monster Japan earthquake, and thinking of our BJT friends up & down the West Coast. While it won't be as bad as what swamped Japan, it still doesn't look good at all.

Good luck to all of you.............. :(

I'm really in-land at the moment in Corona, CA...but will be heading towards Glendale later today.

Santa Cruz's harbor is being impacted by loose boats -- owners failing to properly secure them and the undercurrent sucking them out of the harbor. It's like bumper cars with no drivers.

So far its sounding like a 3' swell or increase in tide height when it hits the southern coast: Ventura, Santa Monica. I haven't heard for San Diego, but the way the bay is situated, it shouldn't be much there.
