I looked for this subject first but did not see it. it may not have to do with tournaments exactly but... what happens if I win too much at BJ in a casino? Las Vegas, or other US locations... will they "mark" me and kick me out of the place? ban me from playing 21?
Time Line Here is the time line First -they will wine and dine you Second -they will offer you show tickets and suites Third -They will invite you back and even offer to pick you up in a limo once your plane arrives Now this is where the fun starts if you happen to win again, god forbid that someone is smart enough to beat them and not be a "SUCKER" First-They will take lots of pictures of you they like having "Family Pictures" to look at once you have gone home Second-They will share these pictures with Beverly Griffin and her lollypop detective agency who somehow will decide that your are cheating and now send you picture all over the word to every casino that is stupid enough to pay for this false information . Third -If you return they will film you for TV and put a blurb over your face but do nothing to alter your voice or appearance and again call you a cheat who is using an unfair advantage. The unfair advantage that you are using is your brain . Hope this helps in your quest to find out what really happens in Las Vegas.Thats why the say " What Happens In Las Vegas Stays In Las Vegas " They really dont want the general public knowing how they really feel about winners.
I completely agree The casinos dont want you to win, plain and simple. If you do somehow win with luck, they all know they will get it back and more sooner or later. Unfortunately when you win with skill, you are labeled as an undesirable and no longer welcome to play 21. And like Joep said they will take your picture and circulate it around. In the long run, it isnt worth trying to make a career at BJ, but play it as a hobby, and for some extra cash if you are a true advantage player. I personally cannot play at any local casino in the Chicago area anymore because of my aggressiveness. It is best to stay low key and not spend too much time in one place, and for big amounts. Best of luck! Stevey
Which casinos? stevey1975: Being from the Chicago area, I was courious: Have you actually been backed off at any of the Chicago area casinos? Are you willing to reveal their names? What about NW Indiana? I'm just an amateur and really don't have to worry about being backed off. Besides I play for relatively small money and never use a player card. I personally have never come accross anyone being backed off in this area, so I am just interested in your experience.
