Such simple math. I couldnt believe it when Torre opted out of a Yankee extension followed by A-Rod doing the same. Maybe the owner of the Dodgers has baited these tow baseball greats to the Dodgers. I cant believe Torre would have come to the Dodgers without a solid belief in the team. Young solid players like Martin, Ethier, Loney and Kemp only need guidance with a quality power hitter lke A-Rod. I would hate to be a Giant fan for the next 10 years:joker:
You'd better hope for A-Rod because as likable a guy as Torre is, he isn't really much of a manager, especially for the NL. He's a guy that's been handed the best talent in the American League for over a decade and had to do nothing but sit back and watch. Look at his history managing in the NL compared to his Yankee days and you'll see one division title in 15 years. A little different story there.
