I am going to play in somewhat of a different format tournament and would appreciate any input on the best way to play it. It will be limited to 288 players who will play a sit and go style format 18 hands starting with $10,000 bankroll BJ pays 2 to 1 $100 min, no max bet, mulligans are available.. They are taking the top 18 players with the highest chip totals, not the table winners to the semi final. I used Wong's formula to get the goal amount of 288 divided 18 =16 square root =4 x 10,000=40,000 so I estimated my goal should be $34,000 min to be one of the 18. So what is the best way to achieve that? Go all in on the first two hands and hope for the best and if you reach your goal bet $100 the rest of the way , or take a proportional approach? The semi final the top 2 advance to the final in a normal tournament style but again no max bet. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Bet maximum until you have reached your goal and then bet minimum.
