I called the Meskwaki Casino in Tama IA. To check out their July 30 Blackjack Tournament. It starts at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 30. Registration from now until 12:00 noon on July 30. They assured me that all entry fees will be returned to the players coming in 1st through 6th place. Tournament based on 72 players but will allow up to a max of 144 players. I reserved a room for Saturday night. Standard room rate is $89 but may be compt based on play. Friday the 29th is already full. I am going to call back next week for more details.
