Well, its that time of year again, when several of us will be in Las Vegas during the May Hilton Finals and the Stardust tourney. We had a terrific gathering for dinner last year at the Outback Steakhouse and perhaps we can do it again this year at a different restaurant. It looks like Friday, May 13th or Monday, May 16th are the best days for us all to get together. Anyone game? And any restaurant suggestions?
Sounds good How about Limerick's downtown at Fitzgeralds? We had the party for the WSOB II there and had plenty of room. Either Thursday after the WC drawing late (9:30) or Friday night around 7:00. I'm in where ever ya'll decide.
Don't forget On Thursday, at the wildcard drawing, they usually have food. I say Friday instead of Thursday. The other thing to consider is getting everyone downtown unless you are renting a limo Rick. I guess it depends on how many will be joining us for dinner. Also, we only have two weeks before Hilton Finals so we need to decide shortly and I will make reservations again. I would say cut off date for RSVP would be a week from this Friday...May 6th. So all suggestions welcome. So far...Limericks at the Fitz. Smith & Wollensky (Steakhouse, opposite Monte Carlo) -second choice last year
I'll get a limo I can get a limo for 10 of my friends (Mark included), but how will you get there Angie....LOL. All kidding a side I will rent a car that week. That should take care of 6 people.
Ride Rick you have friends? Who did you pay this time? We will have room in our car for 2-3 people as well. Remember everyone is welcome. Great time to put faces to screen names. Spouces and friends welcome as well. :celebrate
i vote for Friday nite, too ...and i've got room for 2-3 people in my car as well (to get from the Hilton to wherever & back). Fitzgerald's was nice, and they didn't mind how unbelievably obnoxious we all got -- always a plus with this crazy crowd! -holly d.
while you are at it... While voting on a restaurant, please put number of people that will be joining us in your party.
Im thinking Green Valley Ranch Why not Green Valley Ranch they have some pretty good resturants there and very understanding casino host that might give our group a comp :joker:
Great Idea!!!!! I Bet They Would Welcome All Of Us (especially Joe) With Open Arms! Will We All Have To Sign Release Forms To Eat There?
I vote for Friday …as we are heading home Monday aft and Fitz is fine with me. There are two of us and my rental can accommodate 3 more without too much discomfort (unless I get an involuntary upgrade  )
Newbie If you guys could tolerate a party crasher, I'll be downtown that Friday night. I would like to at least come visit for a while if it wouldn't be imposing. There are very few things that can tear me away from a blackjack table in Vegas...but this is definitely one of them!
Friday sounds like the best fit I'll defer choice of restaurant to whoever, but Friday gets my vote for the schedule. Some players will be departing before Monday night. Wherever we end up, Jan and I will be there. And, mikeaber, of course you're welcome to join us. The more the merrier.
Friday Night 2 of us will certainly join you on Friday. What is the head count thus far? Your choice of venue will be fine. Chips
head count I'll be there for sure then. Not sure at this time if any one will be coming with me though. Mike
So far... Well, it sounds like downtown at the Fitz is the most recommended. Is this alright for everyone? They have great primerib! And as Hollywood mentioned earlier, they don't mind our obnoxiousness :joker: So far the guests are.... cmonseven -2 TXtourplayer -2 Hollywood-1 Jackaroo -2 Mikeaber -1 Ken Smith -2 Chips McCoy - 2 4/28 Head count of 12....don't wait to RSVP!
I wouldn't miss it for the world! Where else could one get so many laughs?! Seems hard to believe I was just meeting many of you for the first time at this time last year. It has been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to dinner anywhere you choose. I'm coming alone this year since Dave's conference in LV is the week before. Gayle

Late suggestion Embers steakhouse at the IP. Very nice, very reasonable prices, small but big enough for our group. Ask Chips, Swog, Joep, and many more really is very nice place.
