I was just wondering how far you would travel in order to play in a BJT?

The poll answers are just a tip of the iceberg so please feel free to post any answers.

    How Far He Asks

HOW FAR I TRAVEL TO PLAY IN A BJT ALL DEPENDS ON MY BANKROLL
SMALL BANKROLL WITHIN 200 MILES BY CAR
    LARGE BANKROLL MOST ANYWHERE
BUT WITH MY DUMB LUCK USUALLY WITHIN 200 MILES AND THERE ARE NO TOURNAMENTS (HOUSTON)
LAKE CHARLES IS CLOSEST BUT NO TOURNAMENTS

    can't answer poll!

Too many variables in tournaments to answer poll. I've been on a bj tournament cruise, been toTunica several times. Vegas, Laughlin, Tulsa, KC, Pearl River MS, Golf Coast, and soon Seattle and another cruise in Jan.

    The more tournies the better.

P.S. My wife has beat me in most of these places.

    depends

for small minis - not very far - for larger minis - within a couple of hours drive - for larger tourneys - will do a longer drive and overnight - depends on tourney, prize pool, entry fee, all that - will be flying to Montreal for their tournament on the 17th this month - but that is only because someone was foolish enough to sponsor me -

Prize pool and format determine whether or not I'll travel and how far.

If the conditions are right, I'll go most places. If not, I won't.

Whoa is me. If I have enough pennies, I'd go anywhere the payout was worth it. And it wouldn't have to be a formulated EV. Cause you know(Juneau) many a biddness looks at a 10 per cent return. So for money invested many tourneys offer at least 150 percent return. anything above is candy. To prattle on. I won't go, or refuse to go if the quote EV isn't perfect, cause again if the return is there then I'm there. Rooms and local are a dime a dozen. Give me a good set of bushes and a hot dog.
