Well it was almost a clean sweep for members of BJT.com tonight. The first five places were all members here. Tie for first and chopping the pot was: 1st - Soozziec - winning $4,130.00 1st - Thrasht - $4,130.00 3rd - TXtourplayer - $1,445.00 4th - Tammy Brown - $1,180.00 5th - UTVOLFan - $540.00 6th - Stan Roper - $324.00 Special notes: Thrasht won this and the big $525 satellite this week. Both Tammy Brown and Stan Roper made yesterdays and todays final table, Stan made 3 final tables this week. TXtourplayer made 3 final tables this week. All in all a very good showing for members here. I gotta run, about 10 of us are having the first ever BJ - "POKER" satellite event in about 10 minutes. I'll report back on who win's that.

I think he was listed a "local" that showed up a few times on the advancing list during the event.
Yep, it was. So everyone, including Mr. Roper, that made a semi or a final will get some points. I will get none, however, since every time I was in the money this week it was an unsanctioned side event including the Hollywood Dave Room 618 invitational we had last night with a group of us playing UBT format until 4:30 in the morning.
Wow, I forgot about the rankings! I have had a good last two weeks making 5 finals and 1 other semifinals (bubble-boy 3rd with 2 advancing...LOL) out of my last 8 tournament, (not counting any Sit & Go events. I only had one outright win and one chopped win out of this group. Last night I was BR1 going into the last hand and had next to the last bet. I ended up taking first high and first low over the first three players and forced Soozziec to DD her hard 12 in front of me and Thrasht to split his 20 behind me to take the high from me. Unfortunately for me they both hit their hands to drop me to 3rd place. All 6 finalist said during the hand, that our last hand was the best hand played of the week, all 6 players had a legit shot at winning the tournament going into the last hand. I congratulate Soozziec and Thrasht on not only going for it but hitting their last hand to pass me to win last nights tournament. I am already making my plans to be back here in May, hope to see even more players up here at that time.
Congrats to the entire final table. Well done! And, Stan Roper actually signed up here at BJT the day before he made that final table, so it's official... 6 out of 6 finalists from BJT.com! :celebrate
Oklahoma: Indeed congrats to the winners in OK and to this site. TX mentioned, "back in May". What are the plans for that, as I somehow took the February event as a yearly thing.
It looks like Cherokee Casino's event calendar will be pretty busy. They're planning a multi-day multi-tournament series again in May, and then in Oct/Nov. In addition, Eric is considering adding a mid-summer event. So, this looks like it could be a 3 or 4 times a year stop on the tournament trail! Thanks All Thank you all for the congrats and most of all to Soozziec for a great finish. When on the blackjack cruise this summer we'll have to play more footsies to keep that concentration level high Sooz. I want to thank Eric, Steve, Montie, Ronnie and the other personnel from Cherokee for putting on a fantastic and really friendly tournament. Storm and I hope to make it back for the next round of blackjack tournaments in a few months.
Perfect 6 of 6... I didn't even realize Stan Roper had joined BJT.com until Ken's post. I am sorry I left you off the picture Stan, but I am sending Ken a new one of th efinal table that will include all 6 of us. If I am not mistaken this is the first tournament where all the finalist have been BJT.com members (for a major event anyway).
