Just wondering what casinos if any in N. Miss have regular scheduled open blackjack tournaments. I heard something about Sams Town having one but could not find the dates and time. thanks in advance

    Tunica Tournaments

Sam's Town has a regularly scheduled tournament every Sunday at 7 P M. Entry fee is $25.00 and rebuys are $25.00. Double deck elimination format with 2 advancing to the semi finals and 1 from each semi table. One wildcard into finals. Pays 7 places. 100% of entry fees and rebuys returned. Don't know the exact percentages paid, but 1st usually pays over $1,000. They usually have a good crowd and welcome new players.
They were talking about changing the dates to Wednesday nights from Sundays the last time I was there. Haven't been in 2 weeks so don't know if they did or not.

I was at Sam's Town on May 20 and i think i saw they started at 5:00 PM.

  4. I played this tournament back in April and it started at 7 but they could have changed it since then. I thought it was a pretty well run event.

$25 entry, last Tuesday first payed $1200, second $500, and down to 7th, 2 advance to semi-final then just one advances. Rebuys are allowed for $25. 17 or 20 hands(don't remember) with count down with 3 hands remaining. One wild card to keep you hanging around.
