Does anyone know what is going on THIS TIME with the EBJ Tourneys on Ultimate Bet? It sure looks like they have no idea themselves. Is it possible that this company has so little regard for its customers that it sees no problem in their erratic behavior and failure to provide any notice or explanation? Perhaps I am the idiot who continues to spend money daily with a company with such obvious disdain for my patronage. Thanks.
UB Tourneys are back UB is listing ebj tourneys again. The same pathetic $5 tourney every two hours, with the 8:00 edt one being $10 with a $500 guaranty. One would think since they are getting reasonable turnouts for their $5 tourneys with no guaranty, they would at least try some higher entry fees. It does show disdain, as well as a lack of marketing skills, for them to list, delist, switch, etc. without any notice to their customers, or any explanation as to why they are doing this. Absolute Poker is still offering ebj SnGs, which are seeing some play, and are also offering $1 and $3 multi-table tourneys. I know that I can transfer funds between Ub and AP, but has anyone done this? and has anyone had any problems after doing this? I might speculate that they are wanting to align their sites with their new platform, so have been mucking with the ebj because of that. Maybe. Or maybe they are just dumb.
RK: I don't know if you noticed last night, but the EBJ's were were not listed again. Then, sometime later, they returned, though the 8:00 p.m. Guaranteed was not. Now today, that one is back on again also. Wholly coincidental with your AP question, I downloaded Absolute Poker last night and was going to make a transfer to try their EBJ's. I didn't simply because I could not decide what "nickname" I wanted to use. It is baffling to me why this company cannot send an email to its BJ Players, much less post some on-site explanation, when they are making substantial changes to their format or experiencing temporary technical problems or whatever is behind the changes. My Local Dry Cleaners is run more responsibly and more professionally. Either they truly are that stupid or they have no respect for regard for their BJ players. If another possible explanation exists, I have yet to discover it. Thanks for your Reply.

Bet 21 If you enter their site through the Bet21 portal, you may notice that they are still advertising the May 25, 2007 $25K tournament. It is quite a stretch to expect them to update anything else.
