This is interesting: on the Barona Casino Website, it says if you qualify for a minimum casino credit of $10,000, they'll waive your $550 entry fee and comp you up to 3nts. hotel. If you've got the funds and the inclination, that's a pretty sweet deal!
Bunny, so I apply for 10g credit and Im in? I will see you there. Maybe we can room on the same floor! Do we get to be counted in the hokey pokey standing system? You know the one that basis uses third world countries tournaments? LOL Barney
Barney- Just thought it was a nice incentive that members would like to know about. You want in, then call yourself. But now that I know you'll be going, I'll request a non-smoking room on a Barney-free floor. Bunnytrix
Just curious So when you apply for credit do they go through the same process as if you were applying for a loan? Credit checks, affordability, etc? What interest do they charge? Is it fixed term, say over 2 years, or what? Do you have to be a US citizen? Is it secured or unsecured? What happens if you can't pay? Also is there a requirement to use a certain amount of this credit wagering in the casino? If I went along, got the $10K credit but didn't use any would they be a little upset? Like I said I'm just curious from a noobs point of view Cheers Reachy
It's my understanding that they just check your accounts to see if you have the funds available. Then once you've cleared, when you want to use it say at at a table, you just ask, and they have you sign a paper and they give you the amount you asked for in chips. You can pay it back at the table or at the cage, but you should always pay it back. I've always been told you should never even think of screwing a casino out of money. Also, even if you get a credit line, you don't have to use it.
