sounds like the two iron horse casinos in the seattle area, might put on tourneys for trips to barona as their next ubt style promotions. i know we have picked up a couple of new members on this site since this last weekend from the seattle area. still trying to talk up a tourney in the seattle area, such as eric put on in tulsa. i believe there would be enough interest from bjt players coming to seattle, as well as the hard core bjt players in this area.

I wont be entering anymore tourneys at the horse simply because I cant stand the $10 surrenders and the fact its impossible for 80% of the players to win more than 20% of their hands...

if they changed the format some I would consider it, like the 7th seat drawing, PUT EVERYONES NAME NOT ENTRY NUMBER IN A TRANSPARENT BARREL!!! I hate watching the same people get drawn to the final table!

also, the way they do the chip allocation according to points is ridiculous, at least the way they do it, you should have to play in a pre-determined amount of tourneys to qualify, period! you shouldn't be penalized because dealers can't shuffle and you never see a winning hand!

on that note do you realize the person that was drawn to the final table was an alternate? nice eh? I saw her play like 5 times? I have $2k invested and she has maybe $200? thats why it should simply be a predetermined amount of entries to qualify...

they would also need a shufflemaster in order for me to ever play there again period, watching a dealer pull the cards out of the catch then go straight to the cut without any sort of shuffle at all is rather discouraging to say the least, and even more frustrating when the shoe pounds you into the ground, I don't expect to win 50% of my hands or even 45% but I do expect to win between 35 and 40 percent, 10% for me at the horse is a good shoe...

they need to change the format.....

    Iron Horse UBT

Iron Horse is not sure where there next UBT tournament sponsorship will be. I talked to Robert this morning and they are thinking of the Venetian UBT. However, Barona may still be on their minds. Iron Horse management prefer Las Vegas since they get to go for free. Five of the Auburn Iron Horse winners elected to go to the Palms.

Congratulations to all the made the Iron Horse final table. Being 7th on the overall list didn't help me make the final table. Needed to have some luck that day.
