Need clearification 1) In his opening post, kennye said UBT will be held at "Lake Las Vegas". I never heard of this place and can't find it in the CASINO LIST. 2) Hollywood Dave made a post today, not under this sub heading, and said he was going to Las Vegas next week for the UBT. I will be in Las Vegas next week, Oct., 7 - 16, 2005, so I am curious about this event. Not that I am qualified to play, but possibly as a spectator. Won't be able to listen to the kennye show on Thursday for details, I'll be traveling . Any information as to where, when, qualifications, etc. will be helpfull. Thanks.

Have to decline Thanks for the offer, Joep, but I have to decline. My schedule is pretty tight with my BJ tournaments and my wife's slot tournaments (ya, she loves those damn machines). I intend to stay on the strip this trip so a side trip to Hendersen with the time I would have to spend there would be pushing it. Maybe another time.
UBT versus the 2 million tourney Joep and Kennye Is this tournament (UBT) the $2 million that you and Kennye have been working to organize or are you still working another deal on top of this? It would be great to have two big events to work towards. Pat PS: Is anyone interested in getting together Monday afternoon or night at the UBT? I will be in town around noon and am scheduled to play Tuesday, so Monday night is the only shot I have for a get together.
Different Pat this is a different tournament then the 2 Million Dollar Tournament Joep and Kennye are working on getting together. We also will have another GSN "World Series of Blackjack III" and the new GSN "World Blackjack Tour" that should all be running this next year. 2006 Looks to be a banner year for tournament Blackjack. With Ulitimate bet and Global-Player working with the above mention tournaments it looks like online satellites will be coming shortly as well.
2 Big Time Tournaments Its always good to have Rick around he answers all of my questions.Now if we can only get him to remember his own phone number ,all will be good.The UBT tournament is Russ Hamilton's baby,and a good one at that with over 1.2 Million in prizes awarded in a 2 week period .Talk about "Large".The tournament that I was working on and now Kenny E has the reigns is a 2 Million Dollar Tournament over a 13 month period.Right now we are looking at a Jan 22 2006 starting date.That date could change but it will not be any earlier than Jan 2006.Hope to see you at the tables !!
