Just reported on Bluff Magazine's web site. The US Attorney General's office, New York Southern District, has started freezing online assets from American online players. They state that more than $30,000,000 has been frozen. Also that transactions by eCheck and from certain online casino checking accounts have been blocked. According to Bluff, Full Tilt, Poker Stars, and UltimateBet are all affected, as well as other sites. Players and accounts affected are from many states, not just New York.

If you have money in an online account you might want to follow this news.

Only surprized it took them this long...

The current government is taking over or trying to control everything else so are you really surprized over this? The only thing that surprized me is it took them so long to do it.

I haven't play any online since Global-Player closed their doors.

Just wait till the government get control of the on line casinos and they start getting their piece of the pie, then on line gaming will the wonderful and legal for all to play, but until they get control they are going to stop it anyway they can.

It isn't just the on line gaming you need to be worrying about, start looking at what the government is doing about the second ammendment (our rights to bear arms). They are trying to sneak in the back door and instead of taking our guns, they are blocking our ability to get ammo and even re-loading supplies (just ask Monkey system about this). So the guns won't be any good without the ammo.
