    Hi All-

I will be playing in my first tournament in the near future and have read just about all I can find about strategy.

I have not been able to find very much regarding using the true count in determining the amount to bet. It seems to me that in the earlier rounds (assuming that all other players are betting at, or near the minimum) betting the count would make a lot of sense.

Any insight from you seasoned tournament players would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Blackson

Betting the count in blackjack is one thing , betting the count in a blackjack tournament is another thing .Remember you are playing against the other players and not the casino in a tournament. So you bets should be based upon what you opponests have either bet or what they have in unbet chips.Keeping the count in a tournament along with trying to keep the other bankrolls will most likely be a tough task for a newcomer
