    Just returned from sin city. A great trip even though I did not find any BJ tournaments that were available during my time there 12-16. Spent most of my time chasing a 1$ BP progressive royal that finally hit at over 8 grand but not by me. Was lucky though, as I was even after 8 hrs of play and would not play the game after the royal was hit.

    Another interesting event was the 33 million Mega Bucks jackpot that was hit Monday in Reno. Had planned to drop a couple of hundred on this game but got too interested in the poker royal and did not know until Tue. morn that the Jackpot for Mega Bucks had been hit.

    Wasn't overly impressed with BJ nor VP at the high end casinos. Encore, Wynn, Mirage, Palooza, doesn't offer much for the person looking for a good gamble. Architecture, land scaping, and art are beautiful, but doesn't add much to my bank-roll nor my pantry.

    Hope to see some of you at the Beau tournament in May.

    No Vegas Tournaments

    WOW, If it's BJ tournament play you desired no matter the prize pool during your 04/12 - 04/16 stay in Vegas, the mini tournaments listed at this site for those dates indicate;

    Longhorn Casino - daily tournaments Mon. thru Thur. $10.00 entry
    Longhorn Casino - Sun./Wed. $25.00 entry
    Fitzgeralds 10K Tournament 04/13 - 04/16 $149.00 entry
    Cannery Mon. $15.00 entry
    Sahara Wed. $25.00 entry
    Arizona Charlies Thur. $25.00 entry
    Rampart Thur. $25.00 entry
    Wild Wild West Thur. Free Entry

    Larger Las Vegas prize pool (50K plus) BJ tournaments are normally held Fri. thru Sun. which unfortunately didn't fit with your 04/12 thru 04/16 Las Vegas trip.

    The upcoming events are a great feature of this site.

    Thanks Rookie, but I should have been more specific about availability of BJ tourneys. Accessibility, availability, other commitments, and time constraints were reasons for my not playing in a BJ mini while in Vegas. Will do better planning on future trips.
