Venetian Tourny Now Open To Public

  1. I was on another site earlier today and saw that the Venetian is having two BJ tournaments that are open to the public this Saturday (Aug. 20) and the following Saturday (Aug. 27). They are citing that the winner can win "up to"? $15,000 and a room/show package from the V for an entry fee of $100. Rebuys are also $100. The downside is that it is a "winner take all" format.

    Venetian Blackjack Tournament

    I played last Saturday.

You can register anytime after 10 AM. Entry fee is $100 and you will receive a $25 Match Play coupon. It is one winner per table in Round 1. You can rebuy for another $100.

Semi final consists of 3 tables (18 players) therefore, if like last week they did not have a total of 18 tables in all the sessions of Round 1, they will wildcard players. Again 1 winner per table.

Final table - They wildcard 3 players straight to final table.

Winner take all - 100% of entry fees - last week totaled $7800 plus 2 nights free, 2 tickets to Madam Tusau and 2 Gondola rides.

Downside: $100 Minimum bet - $5000 (total of beginning bankroll) Maximum bet. You were not allowed to speak during play. Only 12 hands with visual count after 7 hands.
