BTW, this tourney will run during the Barona TOC. Maybe some might like to play the Barona $50K qualifier and visit Viejas which is a short drive from Barona. Just in case you dont have the 10 grand to buy into the TOC, lol.
viejas Viejas web site says grand prize is $7,500 - still lists the prize pool as $50,000 - may be using a flater pay off schedule - or - they are paying more semi-finalists, quarter finalists, and round three players - they are apparrently still going with a format of two advance from first round - one advance from second round - with your rebuy placing you into the second round - and - will draw as many as 30 wild cards from second round players into the third round - and third round pays the losers $300 - first and second round advances depend on number of players - but they had close to 300 last time - and that gave two advance then single advance for these rounds - only about 100 people showed up for the wildcard drawings - so with 30 drawn - about 1 of 3 chances to wild card into money - later rounds where all two or three players advance -
I was detailing the calendar entry for this Dec Viejas event. Ass RK points out the grand prize has been lowered to 7500 from 10000. I saw while updating the wording is now $50000 IN CASH AND PRIZES Im not calling in... but the reduction in payout might be the "Prizes" which will be won via drawings it appears.
