Wednesday Night Tourn

Right before the end of the year I had put together a 2 table 14 player tournament with an entry fee of $20.Over at www.LasVegasAdvisor.com one of the members there asked me to try to organize something like that again.

So if anyone is interested lets see if we can re-start this Wednesday night tournament back up again.

The REAL reason Joe picked Wednesday nights is that he was appearing LIVE
for some reality show called American BJ! It was on on BJTV (channel 666 on SkyAngel).

I heard he was singing gambling man! :joker:

It was heads up between me and Diamond Girl on the last hand

My bankroll was 213,500

No secret bets for either of us

Diamond Girl was dealt 18 Dealer had a 6

I dd for 7,000 to regain the high without giving up the low

Diamond girl stood on her hand,the dealer busted and so did I

After 2 weeks off

Wednesday night April 11 at 6PM Pacific time 9PM Eastern time lets try to have a 14 player tournament with a $20+2 entry fee.

This tournament will take place at Bet21 you can find the table under Sit & Go's and then under the Multi Table Tab 14 player $20+2

Tonights tournament had a stellar line up show up and I thank everyone who played for making this a successful event.

Rookie finished 3rd and took home some extra cash

It became Heads Up between Adriana and Alala

With 5 hands to go Adriana held a small lead 70,000 to 63,000

On the Final Hand

Alala had 72,000
Adriana had 49,000

Alala used his secret bet and bet 27,000 which was a nice bet as it took him to 99,000 with a win shutting out Adriana on a win win as without a blackjack she would only go to 98,000

That bet also allowed him to DD if Adriana received a Blackjack.He could also surrender if things got dicey.A nice bet by Alala

Adriana tried to get cute and only bet 1,000 .The only way she could win now was with a dealers blackjack with a 10 up and no insurance option for alala.

Once Alala saw the 1K bet it was over except for the hidden blackjack a 42-1 shot.

A well played Final table by all.Congrats to Alala as he is an excellent player who doesn't give you much to work with when playing against him.

I have my feeling on who it is playing behind this alias,but my lips are sealed.

How about this bet

No way would I have bet that amount especially against a player like Alala.On top of that the bankrolls almost assured that he would have made a bet of 27K or close to that, is just allows him so much flexibility as I explained in my earlier post. I actually spoke with Adriana after my post,she read it and informed me she knew she needed to swing Alala if she didn't receive a blackjack and she told me she hit the min. button when she meant to hit the Max bet button.

Adriana is too good of a player to make a bet of 1K on purpose,it was a clear case of hitting the wrong button which I have done while attempting to do more than one thing while playing on line.The only other bet I would have made there if I didn't bet it all would have been 10K in secret.Can you tell me why a bet of 10K will work for you also.It dangerous but it does have some outs other than just the plain all-in and hope for the swing.

I was thinking along the same lines as 10K as an alternative bet. What the 10K does is force BR1 to win or push since a 10K win by BR2 buys BR1's surrender. Nice question Joep

I went through a motivational slump recently, curiously ever since my visit to LV. Not sure why other than that after seeing the bright lights, the live action and meeting a lot of you guys, playing online in my underpants at the kitchen table at 2am in the morning didn't quite seem the same. I now seem to have regained my enthusiasm and will start to pepper the board with my own unique brand of bizarre tournament theory and sophomoric babble !

I do enjoy your tourney reports and they always seem to inform. They almost always give me something to think about and definitely help me add to my game, at least in theory anyway . Keep it up.

Now that things have calmed down a bit since last weeks hectic schedule of playing in the Barona UBT Circuit event and the Palms UBT Tour stop from Tuesday right through Saturday.

Lets see if we can get the Wednesday night 14 player tournament up and running again after 2 weeks off.

So this Wednesday at 9 PM Eastern at Bet 21.com under sit & go's multi table tab.

Tournament entry fee is $20+2 and the format looks like this 2 tables of 7 players with 3 players out of 7 advancing to the Final table.

The top 3 spots will win money.
