Sports Interaction Casino is holding a weekly blackjack tournament with a minimum prize pool of $1000.

The event is held on Sundays, from 4 PM to 6 PM EST.

To participate in the event, you must make a deposit during the week. Both new and existing players can participate. On each Friday, they'll send out email invitations to everyone who deposited during the week. (If you're a new player, they'll also give you an extra $20 to play the event.)

The tournament lasts for two hours, and the winners are determined by ratio of payouts to wagers. For example, if you make 10 bets of $10, and win six of them, your wagers are $100 and your payouts are $120 (which includes getting your initial bets back). Your ratio is therefore 120%.

Prizes are at least $500 / $250 / $125 / $75 and $50, and if the event becomes more popular, they may increase the prize pool.

Although there is apparently no minimum number of hands or amount of action required, I would recommend playing a 'reasonable' number of hands during the two hours. My clever attempts to put up a big ratio by playing only one hand have rarely been awarded any prize money at other online casinos, so I've stopped trying to be so clever now.

    More about Sports Interaction:
It's a Playtech casino, with a 125% bonus up to $125 on your first deposit. The bonus terms require you to wager 20x the bonus amount before withdrawing, and the bonus is not withdrawable.

The casino links in this post will take you directly to the page describing these tournaments.

    Good luck!

    One more thing

Another item about the rules that I inquired about...

The prize money IS withdrawable, unlike their other bonus money.

I just looked at the rules on their web-site and the requirement is to put at least $100 into play during the two hours

    Looks like they paid attention

That's a new rule, so it could be a result of the questions I posed to them before I posted about the event. That's not a bad thing though.

They also now state that you can't win more than once in a 3 month period.

Assuming I have time after finishing my taxes, I'll probably try to deposit and play some later tonight so I'll get the invite for this week.
    Good luck to all.

    Confusion about SIA Sunday tournament

Just wanted to post that the information we had earlier about the time of the SIA tournament was wrong. I talked with Howie at SIA and he said the tournament runs from 8-10PM EST. (Earlier info gave the time as 4-6PM).

Also, there was, won't be, any email on Fridays inviting us to join the tournament after making deposts during the week. Don't check your ebox - nothing will be there.

Finally, the contact information on the site gave a wrong email address.
Go to the SIA home page to get the right address.

Sheesh, a comedy of errors so far. I hope the event itself goes smoother than the process of finding out about it.

I ended up playing this week but had a schedule conflict and just got home with only minutes left. Maybe I'll make another deposit and try again next week, though I'll just be getting home from Tunica then.

At least I have a four-figure profit from my play there this week. Most of that came from me goofing off playing a game I shouldn't play at all. The Gold Rally slot progressive is at an all-time high of $1.3 million. I played a few spins and got really lucky with a couple of $700 wins in the bonus feature.
