I just added a weekly tournament to the event calendar that might be of interest to those of us living or traveling in northern Wisconsin or Michigan's UP. It's the Lady Luck Blackjack Tournament held every Monday at Lake of the Torches at Lac du Flambeau, WI. It's table elimination format with the top three of six advancing from the quarterfinals and semifinals. Only the top three finalists cash. It's got a $50.00 entry fee with no rebuys. It's limited to 24 players. Starting bankroll is 500 play chips with betting range 10-200. Twenty five hands, countdown after 20 and before the last hand and by player request during the last five hands. No surrender, BJ's pay 3:2. Six decks. The action is big, fast, and random. Everyone bets the max and doubles on the last hand. The service was friendly and the tournament generally well run. If I lived nearby I'd be there every week to pick the fruits of this money tree.
