Thanks for a GREAT "FREE ROLL" yesterday Global-Player.

After last weeks server crash you made one hell of a recovery and put on a excellent tournament for all those who were able to play yesterday. ;)

This free roll on top of your $6,000 BJ tournament you offered this pass Sunday and the way Pumi hands any problems is why your the top online blackjack tournament site for the players.

Thanks for a wonderful (two) tournaments within three days. :D

And congratulations to Ken Smith and BJBandit who won the two events. And please note that BJBandit and Youbetcha made both final events.

    Global-Player New Policy on withdrawals.

    Id confirmation

About a month ago I got notification from GP that they needed to have positive ID before I could withdraw. I am not sure why they are needing it, but I scanned my driver's license and emailed it back and that cleared up the issue. Haven't had a problem since, other than my money seems to go to GP more than from GP recently....

    :(

    Re Global-Player

Thanks for the feed-back. With all the problems of identity theft, I am very reluctant to provide personal information that could then be used for other purposes than routine verification.

    Global verification

I had to provide documentation to withdraw money - never had to before. Know of two others not on this site that had to do the same.

Yes, Global is enforcing this uniformly. I had to send this in recently, despite having tons of transactions with them in the past. It's not all that uncommon request online. I've probably sent ID documents to more than a dozen online casinos. I don't like it, but I do it anyway. Never had a problem.

    Thanks again guys.

Apparently all new members will now have to submit the docs and Global-Player's main page will explain this new requirement.
Thanks for letting me know about your own experiences.I thought that I was being singled out as past withdrawals did not need the docs. My comfort level with Global-Player is ok again.

    I hope y'all have a credit...

tracking service. Handing our info to too many people is very risky IMO. I would say these online casinos are very risky. I use Exparian to track my credit and Im as tight as a tick with who I let know my personal info like drivers license and bank account # etc. My bank company wont let me use debit or credit to send money to Global via direct buy or thru firepay, moneybookers, ect. I could set up a neteller account, but Im too nervous! I will likely set up a neteller soon tho. I want to play!
