On one of the tournament online casino's it says "buy in 50+5", but that is all it says with no instructions or what it means --www.bet21.com. what does that mean? These companies expect new tournament players to know these things and we don't. They don't even have a telephone number to call and ask questions. This company might not be good.

    Entry and fee...

The $50 is for the entry fee and the $5 is the casino fee.

Just to allay your fears a little bit, online casinos (at least, sizeable ones) live on their image. They will never be willing to lose the business of their high-paying customers just to screw over someone who is playing at a lower level. Granted, there may be some sites that will be hard to work with because they make errors. However, to my knowledge no one here has had any trouble with bet21. Perhaps that would be a good question to ask.

All of the sites typically charge a 10% fee for tournament entry (sometimes they give you a break on that if you buy in to an expensive tourney). The first number tells you what portion of what you're paying goes to the prize pool, the second number tells you what goes to the casino.

    You are joking, aren't you?

LOL, you weren't being serious I hope?

You do understand that Bet21.com has still never paid any bonuses they have been promising players since they started their operation. This has been one of the biggest issues discussed on this site over the past several months.

I did say "to my knowledge." ;) And yes, I was serious. I haven't seen anything to that effect. It also doesn't make 100% sense that people would be recommending the site without mentioning such a defect, so I don't think my logic is so far awry.

Furthermore, after a brief check of their website, there is nowhere I see that they explicitly promise a BJ bonus. Perhaps they did in the past? They only offer it for poker, unless you're referring to the book you get for opening an account. If these are promises they are making on a person level through email or whatever, of course you shouldn't expect them to follow through. It appears they are holding true to what they say on their website (and I have in fact been paid the proper bonuses for the few poker sit-n-gos I played).

    Blackjack bonuses

I am sorry, I should have clearified blackjack bonuses, but since we were on a blackjack site I thought that was a given, my mistake.

Right, I understand. What I'm saying is that no such bonuses appear to be offered. So I don't see the beef.
