I have 500 left and I must bet Max [ 500 ] to stand a chance of winning. Which is best to bet 1/2 max allowing for a possible split but only one card to a double down or bet Max with no split possible but a draw of more than one card to my hand. By the way thanks to you all for helping out.
Best Bet Max, you are not very likely to get a split hand, what if you get BJ? you would still need to double down. Do you play Inverness?
More infomation needed Kirk how much do the other players have? What is the betting order? How many players are still left? Assuming that their are at least 3 players left and one bets to get to $995 and the other bets low leaving $505 behind then I could see you having to bet it all. In that case I would bet it all at once. A DD you don't get hurt since you already have it all in play any how, you only get hurt if a split comes up. In some cases you can take the low, that is why I was asking for the other infomation.
To Swog Just started to play on Global, after seeing the tournaments on TV. Living in the Highlands of Scotland I play BJ in casino form when in the big cities,ie Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen and when my wife and I go to Las Vegas which is about once a year. I have never played in a live tournament but with the practice I am getting on the internet I will try one next time in Vegas.
