Why not early surrender?

When I was playing at the new blackjack21.com site(nice action and nice people by the way!) a lot of players wanted early surrender in the rules.

And why not? I think that the game would be much more interesting...
    What do you say?

    I Would Love to But

I think your right locutus that it would make it more interesting but. I have never been able to use early surrender at land based or online casinos having only played blackjack competively for a few years. I've read about it in many of the older blackjack books and would love it if casinos brought it back as it is favorable to the player. When I play sit and go's online it is for entertainment and mostly for practice for land based BJ tournaments. That being said I prefer to practice with similar rules to what the land based casinos use. If land based casinos brought it back for BJ tournaments I would be in favor of it. I can tell you that it is very doubtful that early surrender will ever be brought back at live play BJ tables though I know that's not what you were proposing. You were talking about BJ tournaments.

    Talk about surrender trap...

How nice would it be if we had early surrender in tournaments. Setting the surrender trap a player wouldn't have to worry about the dealers blackjack.
