The following comes straight from GSN: ------------------------------------------------- Play with the best blackjack players in the world! $500,000 in Prizes!!!! GSN’s World Series of Blackjack is seeking big time tournament players for its second season. If you think you have what it takes, send us an email with your name and contact information to gsnblackjack@yahoo.com (Filming in November 2004 with location TBA)
Selection Criteria Any ideas what kinds of players that they are look for? I mean, I am just an amaetur.
I would say send in an E-mail. It might be that they are looking for some geographic diversity and give you a call. That is my only hope.
Wsob Ii Hollywood Dave said the WSOB II is being held at the Golden Nuggett between November 7th - 13th, 2004. He also said first place will be $300,000 nice little payday for someone. Smart play by GSN if this is all true, they can get FOX's Casino to plug their show. Ken has a contact e-mail to send your information to GSN at the first of this thread. Good luck to all those that get on the show.
What I have heard GSN will be filming the WSOB II in November somewhere in Vegas, (location not confirmed yet). They are looking for players for the show. Ken has a e-mail address posted on the first of this thread for GSN, just send in that you are interested in becoming a contestant. They will send you back a form to fill out and request a head and body picture of you. If they are interested someone will call you and ask a few more questions. They then have to try and pitch each player to the network. If you are selected you should hear something this week since it is scheduled for Nov. 7th - 13th. Good luck to all that sent in e-mails, I am one of the hopefuls myself.
Still Crossing Fingers Cool. I thought GSN already made their selections. So, again, good luck to all of us.
Not sure I think GSN is still contacting players, if not I guess I'll try for WSOB III...LOL Good luck to all that have been contacted and those who will be.
Yes, selection continues I hear that some players are indeed still being contacted with good news. I assume the next few days will see the process completed. Best of luck to everyone that's submitted their name.
Ken Have you been contacted?? I put my name in as well, and sent my picture. I am no Pro, but I do well in the U.P. eh! I can only imagine they want PRO's, but hopefully not. I would love to compete against the best. Anyway good luck to everyone who gets in. Slim
