OOOoohhh Kami! If the strategy isn't working, you've got to adapt! Kami just didn't seem to be into it tonight. My man Charlie, I hated to see him go. He looks so mcuh like Horatio Sans from Saturday Night live. Very close up to the end. Will John learn basic strategy now? Doubt it. Blind luck seems to work pretty well for him! Way to go Dr. John!
We all feel for Kami Kami played a great game to hang in as long as she did with the dealer dumping. I think all the tournament players felt for her mistake not doubling down when she needed to, but we all know how difficult it is to see the obvious play when you are in the middle of it. Looking forward to the 2007 WSOB!
You mean "Dr. Jeff," right? And yeah, I feel for Kami too. She was very smart, but with everything seemingly going against her, she ended up making the wrong play. She was still great, though. Congrats to Dr. Jeff --- he played so well and got such good cards, he didn't even need the final hand.
Guys, thanks so much for the congratulatory remarks. I really appreciate it. It was an honor just to compete in the World Series of Blackjack. And to win it, was just amazing. I met some great people while I was there, and had a lot of fun. One thing that got edited out of the show was me thanking Kenny Smith. I tried to follow Ken’s Tournament Blackjack strategy tips, as often as I could. Although I didn’t follow it to the letter, Ken’s strategy was dead on. So Ken, thank you. I look forward to seeing you guys in Aruba, where hopefully some pokerboy’s will get the BLACKJACK BEATDOWN!
The best advice You couldn't be more right. You are listening to the best of the best when you listen to Ken Smith. Can't wait for his book.
Hey Ken, Does this mean that the price of the "new" book just went from 19.99 to 39.99? How about it? Since you're a contributing author for "All-In" why not have some chapter snippets? Just a thought. Let me know when you begin taking advance sales!
