Man Jonny, it's a shame that this tournament is the same week-end as The Soo!! Hopefully, they'll have another that wont conflict....
Does anyone know if they will be giving free entries as the Hilton used to? Several years back, you received a free entry to the next tournament with a suited blackjack during table play. Generally, a couple of hours will net this. Basically, once you paid for a tournament you would never have to pay again! They would also send out some pretty good room/meal deals.
Clicking on the tournament link, and then on Current Dates shows that this event is scheduled for March 13-15, 2015.
The entry fee for this one is listed at $249, which I don't doubt. But I think that fee depends on past side play as I got a flier stating that it was $149. Might be worthwhile to call a host there to inquire.
I'm guessing that several of us from this direction would like to but it's scheduled for the same weekend as one of our favs in MI. Curious about this------my mailer only said 50k purse. Promo chips? Which kind? Billy C
Highly unlikely I'll be able to attend either one, the bowling center which graciously keeps me employed is hosting a huge tournament across 7 weekends in February and March and anyone who wants time off had better bring a note from a coroner. Don't know about the payout, BillyC, my mailer was probably about the same as yours. Not much info.
Was there a week ago (in Laughlin now) and did not see anything via advertisement. Will email a host and relay any details if none are reported. If you are not able to attend LN, there is a chance for the rest of us now to claim first place. Hey Billy C. long time no see. Seasons greetings.
