Does anyone know the basic rules for this tournament? Number of hands, minimum & maximum bets, opening bankroll, etc.
Traditionally, the Beau plays 30 hands a round. 25K starting bankroll, 100-10000 for the first 29 hands, on hand 30 you can bet 20K. Count after 25th hand. Every tournament I have played in has had 4 rounds with a rebuy after 1st round. So there is round 1, rebuy round, round 2, semi-finals and finals. Always been 5 people plus one on a drawing (from all players) for the final table. The semi-final round is normally 5 tables of 4 with winner going to finals. The 2nd round normally is two sessions of 10 tables with 5-6 players at the table, the winner going to semi-finals. Round 1 and rebuy round vary on how many people advance depending on the number of entries. They have normal BJ rules. They have one rule and it will be brought up a number of times. If you point you will get a card. Doesn't matter what you have or if you want to know how much money you have out there to DD/split. Saying the words DD or Split does not matter. If you point you will get a card. They are very strict about this.
also you need to slide bet in or sometimes....... they will call a string bet on you , only get to bet first chip
