Tournament is on the last Thursday of each month - so check for right date - 15 hands per round - no max bet, min is $5 - one advance from qualifier to semi - one advance from semi to final - all final players win something - first place wins $2,300 - total prize pool is $5,000 guaranteed - can register starting the Monday before the tournament - tournament is the last Thursday of each month - starts at 6:00 Arizona time - play is in the California Casino - tables fill up quickly in winter snow-bird season - often much fewer players in summer - sometimes only five at final table -so prizes increase for each position - casino makes a profit from tournament in winter - pays out more than it takes in in summer -
