Spring Fling Blackjack Tournament - Stardust

Entry fee is $350 if reservation made by 3/17/06. Rooms 
are not included, but "tournament players receive a 
special casino rate". This tournament was originally 
scheduled to be a "live money" tournament but they changed 
it to funny maoney.
Their literature does not say "invitational", but it may 
be unless this is a departure from their established 
policy of only having invitational BJ tournaments.
In past events, wild cards have been drawn for all rounds 
after the 1st round.
This will be their first non-smoking BJ tournaments.

All semi-finalists who don't reach the finals will receive 
$300 in cash.
An interesting footnote on their literature: "Tournament 
prize money is based on 180 players and Stardust will 
automatically increase the prize pool incrementally based 
on the number of players participating". They seem to 
imply that the $100,000 is guaranteed although this would 
be a departure from past policy. In recent times, they 
have never had 180 players. We'll see.
