registration fri 18...4pm-7pm.....tournament starts 11am on Saturday 19 ….yes its a fun tournament

 

Thanks for the clarification. I was going off of what I remembered from the last tournament, and my memory is not that good anymore. Should any of you get down there I'm the Old fat guy with a buzz cut. Probably be wearing my obnoxious flowered Hawaiian Walmart shirt. It's kind of my signature good luck Blackjack shirt. trying to find cheap air fare and hotel-as I already have plans to fly down the following week for the palace so got to be thrifty for the hard rock

 

if I don't make it there I will be at the palace tournament the following week 26-27-most likely be the only 2 from mn there?

 

I will be there,found deal on hotel within walking distance and cheap airfare-so I will be looking for your flowered Hawaiian shirt

 

Could someone update the exact format on the Blackjack Tournaments (https://blackjacktournaments.com/tournaments/) page?! all it says is "same as previous" but that doesn't help someone who's never been to the tournament before!

What time are rounds? What time is final round? etc etc etc

 

Thanks Ken, but what time is last round normally? 2nd 3rd and 4th round?

Final table has 6 players? So why is 7th place amount higher? Is this the only larger event in Biloxi held on a regular basis? Semis dont get paid anything?

Just returned from the recent tournament at Hard Rock (Biloxi), this past weekend. Final table is 7 players. Payouts: 1st place=$20,000; 2nd=$10,000; remaining 5 players split $10,000 equally ($2,000 each). Play starts at 11am, with preliminary rounds about every half hour. Quarterfinals about 4pm, Semifinals about 5pm, Final table about 6pm. I won my table at 11am, then I advanced out of quarterfinals to Semi's. Could not advance out of Semifinals. It was a tough table to get good hands, as Moses could also attest.

double tree by Hilton went on hotwire and found a fire sale where they don't tell you the name of the place till after you pay 3 day 302 with tax 6-8min walk to hard rock I was told when called and asked hotel

How many advance from each round and how many players per table?

 

I never made it past the first round but from what I could tell it was 6 players per table one person advances. I'm pretty sure it stays that way until the final table.

 

wow.... 1 out of 6 each round. that's steep! about how many people normally play in these? Im considering going up there next weekend!

How much is re-entry and what time are the preliminary rounds? Thanks in advance
